As Director of Quality Assurance, Dana Marinescu provides direction and coordination to Sagem-Interstar's Quality Assurance and Testing department. She oversees the proactive development and implementation of corporate quality objectives, plans and procedures that adhere to industry best practices and ensure accelerated time-to-market.

Dana has 20 years of prior experience in software development, having held positions such as Software Designer, Quality Specialist, Project Manager and Metrics Program Leader. She worked five years at the Motorola Canada Software Centre (MCSC) in Montreal, Canada's first organization to report a highest-ranking maturity level in the Software Engineering Institute's Capability Maturity Model (SEI-CMM Level 5). Prior to that, Dana worked at Memotec Communications and Speedware, as well as at a few companies abroad.

She is a professional engineer and member of the Quebec Order of Engineers (OIQ). Dana holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Bucharest in Romania, as well as an MBA from Concordia University's John Molson School of Business in Montreal.
