XMediusFAX Singled Out for Innovation and Quality

Interstar Technologies, Inc. announced today that its XMediusFAX T.38 Fax-over-IP Server solution has been named a ”Best of Show” winner at Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC™)’s INTERNET TELEPHONY® Conference and Expo, Miami 2002. The show, held last month at Miami’s Hotel Inter-Continental, is widely considered the #1 global event focused on voice, video, fax, and data convergence.

XMediusFAX is a revolutionary Fax-over-IP server solution that fax-enables enterprise networks without the need for expensive computer-telephony interface boards or leased analog lines. XMediusFAX transmits faxes directly over IP networks, using existing Voice-over-IP gateways. Keeping fax transmissions digital over IP networks for the greatest possible distance, XMediusFAX intelligently re-uses VoIP infrastructure and virtually eliminates fax-related long-distance toll charges, which typically add up to 25% of enterprise communications costs.
